creating a split black walnut dining table these are two beautiful 2.80m longblack walnut slabs i have been keeping them to makea dining table for myself let's get started! the slabs were too wide for the routerbut they were pretty straight so we ran them directly through the planer i sanded all sides with 80 grit paper i taped the bottom side toapply epoxy resin i removed excess epoxy with 80 grit paper
i attached socket screws for the legs but later on i decided to place thelegs more towards the outer sides with the legs attached, i cut as littleas possible to straighten the ends with the shaper origini carved the table's name i applied rubio monocoat (pure)on the bottom side of the table i cleaned the live edges with a brush i sanded the upper sides with 120 and 180 grit i applied a coat of sanding sealer i removed the sanding sealer with 220 grit
i applied rubio monocoat to the top look how this beast comes to life! thats it!if you liked this video please subscribe
