dining room buffet ideas
- hey, guys, it's yourgirl, breonna queen. in this video, i'm gonna be sharing with you guys my easy dining room refresh. if you're new to mychannel, welcome, welcome. i focus on easy ways foryou to live a simple life, including diy, decor, and beauty. let's go ahead, and let's get started on my dining room. so i was able to snag this buffet table,
catch this, guys, for $39. it was originally for $250, but it had scratchesand scrapes all over it, it was missing both of the cabinet knobs, things that were super easy to fix. i'm taking some miniwax wood filler, and this is in the color white, and i'm gonna go aheadand start assembling my corner to my buffet.
ever see clearance furniture that just has, like, the corner missing, or sections missing? you guys, it's such a easy fix. as you can see, all youneed is some wood filler, and it's gonna be just like new. so i let the wood fillerdry for about 24 hours. now, i'm going in with a sanding block. i'm just going to sand that corner out
so it can look a little smoother, and you guys, all products will be listed down below in my description bar. so what i'm doing is a little backwards. i'm actually gonna apply the knobs to the dresser before i paint. so, you guys, you generallywant to apply the knobs after you paint, but i just couldn't wait. so i found these littlerhinestone knobs from amazon,
and originally, this buffettable was missing its knobs, which is why it was markeddown for clearance even more. now i'm just painting all of the scratches and scuffs on the buffet table, and then, here's a little hack. so, when you are panting furniture, and it's really, really smooth, sometimes, you'll see, it looks a little streaky, so take a damp paper towel, and after you paint it,
just go over it withthat damp paper towel. it's gonna help get rid of the streaks, but it's still gonna cover upthe scratches or the spots. and you guys, that's it, a $250 buffet table pricedall the way down to 39.99 because it was missing a corner, some knobs, and some scratches and scuffs, and now it's like new. and now i'm going todecorate my new buffet table.
and these candle pillarsare from the dollar tree. i'll link my diy dollar treecandle pillar video above. now i'm just going to cleanmy glass kitchen table, and i'm going to goahead and decorate that. if you guys are interested in my three paintings on my wall, i do have a tutorialon how i created those. i'll link that video up above. right now, i'm just cleaning out my table.
then i'm gonna decorateit with a gray tablecloth i got from amazon. taking a white tray i found from target in the clearance section, you guys know i lovethe clearance section, as well as some christmas flowers that were marked down after the holidays. and this flower ball wasanother dollar tree diy. i'll link that video above
