living room decorations 2016

- hey guys, it's claire. i just got back from a beach vacation, and i am ready to make myliving room have a makeover. i want it to feel lightand fresh and summery. my friend michaela's over, and we are gonna change some things up, move some things around, and get to work. (upbeat music) step one is remove all darkcolors from your space.

next, remove all bulky furniture. remove all heavy textiles. bring the outside in withgreenery and fresh cut flowers. add a pop of color with abright piece of artwork. for the finishing touch, add some fabrics thatare light and pastel. and we're done. you can see with just a few changes, i was able to transform myspace to feel like summer.
