benjamin moore bedroom colors 2013

we're with ernie rodriguez, of e & r quality painting, here at wesley chapel, in the new tampa area, and ernie, thank you very much for being with us today, yeah, we have some really cool questions to ask you. brands... paint brands. we all hear about sherwin-williams. what is the difference between the various brands that you see? are there some better than others? if i'm looking to save more money, am i going to look at one brand versus another?

talk a little bit about how you differentiate the different types of brands that you use. and does the client go out and shop for them, or do you shop for them? how does that process work? well, the name brands, there's different companies out there: there's sherwin-williams, there's foreign paints, there's home depot behr paint, and home depot, which sells glidden paint, there's lowes, which basically has valspar-king. typically, mostly what i use is sherwin-williams, it's a really good paint,

it has a good longevity, and it just works great, especially in this climate, with high humidity throughout the year. there's a lot of rain, so there's a lot of mold, so it typically lasts a long time. but it also depends on customers. sometimes a customer wants something different, some type of brand, that they feel loyal to. and i can do whatever brand that you like. but mostly, what i use is sherwin-williams. and then, a lot of the home depot products, as well.

typically, those are the ones that i use, because the customers ask me for them. when you come, there's different paint brands. sherwin-williams has arrow, superpaint, a-100, and they vary in price. and, also, since they vary in price, there's different... application's always the same, it's just the price. it's like somebody wants to own a bmw, well, in these houses, it depends on what you want, what your preference is, i guess. what your preference is. and, also your budget.

understand. they're on a budget, so i can usually work with your budget. on your paint, whether it's high-end, quality paint, versus a lower-grade paint. yeah, but they all pretty much work pretty good. now, i can imagine that if i'm going to pay for the 'cadillac', the high end of paint, there's gotta be a differential in terms of the way that paint's gonna perform, it's gonna look, right? i would imagine that's something you would have to share with your clients when talking with them?

you want typically, the higher-end paints, you can get, like, a lifetime guarantee with some of them. so, that's really what differentiates, the difference, we use emeril paint, we follow the steps that they have, you know, lifetime warranty on that house, some of us even pass on the warranty when we sell the house. wow, interesting. very interesting. if we use a super paint, it won't give you a lifetime warranty, with it. but if i use emeril or a high-end paint,

emeril is a sherwin-williams paint, we can do a lifetime warranty with it. excellent, excellent. well, great information about different brands of paint. thank you very much, ernie.
